smartctl -a disk0 | grep -i hours
L'installazione di Homebrew è probabilmente la più semplice e qui ci sono alcuni dettagli sull'installazione e sull'uso dello strumento.
smartmontools
è un pacchetto open source che fornisce la maggior parte dei valori a cui sei interessato.
Se usi Homebrew , installalo con:
brew install smartmontools
(Nell'installazione Homebrew standard, i comandi vengono installati su /usr/local/bin

Altrimenti, scaricalo da https://www.smartmontools.org/wiki/Scarica e compila come al solito:
$ cd smartmontools-6.0
$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install
(Se non diversamente specificato come opzione per ./configure
, i smartmontools
comandi si installano /usr/local/sbin
, quindi aggiorna la $PATH
variabile se necessario.)
Lo strumento a cui siamo interessati è chiamato smartctl
.
Innanzitutto attiva SMART:
$ smartctl /dev/disk0 -s on
Quindi eseguilo:
$ smartctl /dev/disk0 -x
Questo è un estratto dell'output, che fornisce una grande quantità di informazioni. I valori per Power_On_Hours
e Power_Cycle_Count
sotto corrispondono (una volta convertiti da decimali a esadecimali) quelli riportati su Utility Disco.
