Questo è uno script Python che utilizza i risultati del Color Survey di xkcd , in cui Randall Munroe ha posto a migliaia di persone la stessa identica domanda. È arrivato al seguente diagramma:

Il sondaggio ha solo dati su colori completamente saturi (immagino che i colori non saturi sarebbero tutti descritti come "grigiastri"). Ciò significa che dobbiamo fare alcuni trucchi relativi al colore per forzare il nostro input a diventare completamente saturo.

Quello che ho fatto qui è solo convertire il colore di input in HSV, aumentare la saturazione e chiamarlo un giorno. Questo probabilmente non è molto corretto dal punto di vista della percezione del colore, ma qui funziona abbastanza bene - ed è abbastanza semplice che hai solo bisogno della libreria standard. Batterie incluse davvero.

Lo script prevede che satfaces.txt, da qui ( mirror ), si trovi nella directory corrente.

Prendo la lista dei colori da questa pagina di Wikipedia (e le pagine correlate).

Ho anche incluso un po 'di NLG per produrre risultati come "Rosa bulgara con un po' meno verde e blu" e alcune varianti di esso. Prova a suonare insieme per vedere se riesci a indovinare la vera "Rosa bulgara" usando questi feedback. :)

L'algoritmo proverà a trovare il colore più vicino all'ingresso, come definito dalla distanza euclidea. Quindi puoi inserire qualsiasi tripletta numerica e questo darà il colore che è il più vicino a quella tripletta.

(il codice accetta i valori "spazio separato da virgola", "spazio separato" o "separato da virgola")

Aggiornamento: aggiunto un parametro per impostare il numero di colori più vicini da visualizzare. L'impostazione predefinita è 5 colori.

Dati i valori RGB di un colore senza nome, quanto segue trova i ncolori più vicini da un elenco di 140 nomi di colori HTML. Traccia quindi il colore senza nome e i suoi 5 vicini più vicini in uno spazio di 3, con assi per rosso, verde e blu. Nell'etichetta della trama indica il colore più vicino e fornisce i suoi valori RGB.

@JonofAllTrades Dipende dalla definizione delle domande in uscita dal nome dei colori. Ad esempio, se il colore non ha un nome, viene generato il colore html, ad esempio & FFFFFFFF. La domanda dice che produce il nome del colore più vicino conosciuto come "color". No.
