Utilizzando alcuni metodi, quando si crea una copia di una tabella si perdono indici, PK, FK, ecc. Ad esempio in SQL Server posso dire:

select * into dbo.table2 from dbo.table1;

Questa è solo una semplice copia della tabella; mancano tutti gli indici / vincoli. Come posso copiare una struttura di tabella (senza usare un backup)?

In primo luogo sto cercando di farlo manualmente, ma se ciò non fosse possibile accetterò qualsiasi soluzione.

Ovviamente puoi scrivere una tabella in modo relativamente semplice usando l'interfaccia utente:

Questo genererà uno CREATE TABLEscript e dovrai solo cercare e sostituire il vecchio nome con il nuovo nome (e verificare che un oggetto con il nuovo nome non esista già).

Ma se stai cercando di automatizzare questo (ad es. Generare lo script di creazione tabella nel codice), è un po 'più ingombrante. L'opzione di scripting sopra non solo estrae l'intero CREATE TABLEDDL da una singola posizione nei metadati; fa un sacco di magia dietro le quinte nel codice per generare l'eventuale CREATE TABLEscript (puoi usare Profiler per vedere dove ottiene i suoi dati, ma non puoi vedere come li assembla). In SQL Server 2012 ci sono nuove funzioni di metadati che ti consentono di avvicinarti molto più del lavoro che devi fare nel 2005, 2008 e 2008 R2, mettendo insieme le informazioni sulla colonna dai metadati (che ha molti avvertimenti, ad esempio se è decimale devi aggiungere la precisione / scala, se [n [var [char]] devi aggiungere la specifica della lunghezza, se n [var] char devi tagliare la max_length a metà, se è un MAX devi cambia da -1 a MAX, ecc. ecc.). In SQL Server 2012 questa parte è un po 'più semplice:

Probabilmente questo è molto più vicino alla tua CREATE TABLEaffermazione mirata rispetto a un approccio contorto che utilizzasys.columns , ma c'è ancora molto lavoro da fare. Chiavi, vincoli, testo nelle opzioni di riga, informazioni sui filegroup, impostazioni di compressione, indici, ecc. È un elenco molto lungo e ti suggerisco ancora una volta di cercare uno strumento di terze parti per questo invece di rischiare di ripetere un over analogia usata, reinventando la ruota.

@DamienSawyer E quando hai un processo intermedio in cui la cosa è essenzialmente una tabella di gestione temporanea usa e getta, direi che non deve includere tutti gli indici, i vincoli, le proprietà estese, ecc. Ho aggiornato lo script: risolto il supporto della colonna TEXT e aggiunta la possibilità di creare dati da tabella e copia. Questo potrebbe essere l'utilizzo di un martello pneumatico per mettere un chiodo in un muro, ma data l'ampiezza della domanda penso che sia un'opzione valida da menzionare.

Se si utilizza SQL Server 2012 SP4 +, 2014 SP2 + o 2016 SP1 +, è possibile sfruttare DBCC CLONEDATABASEper creare una copia solo schema dei dati del database. Questo è l'ideale per generare copie complete dello schema di più tabelle e può alleviare la necessità di "automatizzare" il processo di looping attraverso una serie di tabelle, ma attenzione che tutte le copie della tabella verranno create all'interno di un nuovo database di sola lettura .

Queste tabelle si comprendono le chiavi esterne, chiavi primarie, indici e vincoli. Includeranno anche statistiche e dati dell'archivio query (a meno che non si specifichi NO_STATISTICSe NO_QUERYSTORE).

La sintassi è

DBCC CLONEDATABASE (source_database_name, target_database_name)[WITH [NO_STATISTICS][,NO_QUERYSTORE]] 

Ci sono anche un altro paio di avvertenze da tenere presenti, di cui Brent Ozar ha un ottimo post , ma tutto si riduce davvero a come e perché vuoi creare copie di tabelle sul fatto che una qualsiasi delle sottigliezze sia o meno un affare .

È possibile utilizzare il comando "Genera script" in SQL Server Management Studio per ottenere uno script in grado di creare la tabella, inclusi indici, trigger, chiavi esterne, ecc.

In SSMS

  • Fare clic con il tasto destro del mouse sul database in cui si trova la tabella
  • Scegli Attività -> Genera script
  • Scegli "Seleziona oggetti di database specifici"
  • Espandi l'elenco "Tabelle" e seleziona la casella di controllo accanto alla tabella che desideri script
  • Fai clic su "Avanti" per passare alla pagina successiva della procedura guidata
  • Impostare le opzioni di salvataggio come desiderato, quindi fare clic sul pulsante "Avanzate"
  • Imposta le opzioni avanzate come le desideri. In particolare, in "Opzioni tabella / vista", notare che (per impostazione predefinita) gli indici, i trigger e gli indici full-text non sono sottoposti a script; se vuoi quelli, passa da "Falso" a "Vero"
  • Al termine, fai clic su "OK" per salvare le opzioni avanzate e su "Avanti" per rivedere le selezioni. Fai di nuovo clic su "Avanti" per generare effettivamente lo script.

È quindi possibile modificare per includere solo ciò che è necessario nel database di destinazione.

Ecco una versione basata su quella di E.Mantovanelli in questo thread. Ciò risolve un problema in cui un indice univoco non includeva la parola chiave UNIQUE nello script risultante. Aggiunge inoltre parametri in modo da poter creare una tabella senza indici non cluster oppure è possibile solo scriptare gli indici non cluster. Lo uso per creare una tabella di fase, caricarla, aggiungere gli indici non cluster, quindi eseguire una commutazione di tabella, che consente al carico di funzionare più velocemente e gli indici non sono frammentati.
