Lettura di un file Excel in PHP [chiuso]

Sto cercando di leggere un file Excel (Office 2003). C'è un file Excel che deve essere caricato e il suo contenuto analizzato.

Tramite Google, posso trovare solo risposte a questi argomenti correlati (e insufficienti): generazione di file Excel, lettura di file XML di Excel, lettura di file CSV di Excel o progetti abbandonati incompleti. Possiedo Office 2003, quindi se ho bisogno di file da lì, sono disponibili. È installato sulla mia scatola ma non lo è e non può essere installato sul mio host condiviso.

A quanto ho capito, PHP-ExcelReader è una classe che può gestire file .xls, ma non file .xlsx. PHPExcel può gestire molti formati diversi (inclusi .xls e .xlsx) ( github.com/PHPOffice/Phpexcel ) ed è in versione stabile. PHPSpreadsheet è un ulteriore sviluppo di PHPExcel ma non è stabile (mentre sto scrivendo): github.com/PHPOffice/PhpSpreadsheet

Hai 2 scelte per quanto ne so:

Spreadsheet_Excel_Reader , che conosce il formato binario di Office 2003
PHPExcel , che conosce sia Office 2003 che Excel 2007 (XML). (Segui il link e vedrai che hanno aggiornato questa libreria a PHPSpreadSheet )

PHPExcel utilizza Spreadsheet_Excel_Reader per il formato Office 2003.

Aggiornamento: una volta ho dovuto leggere alcuni file Excel, ma ho utilizzato il formato XML di Office 2003 per leggerli e ho detto alle persone che stavano utilizzando l'applicazione di salvare e caricare solo quel tipo di file Excel.

@NTulip: non vedo nulla negli elenchi di funzionalità o nella documentazione di entrambi che suggeriscano che possono leggere da file Excel. Eventuali esempi?

PHPExcel è sempre stato in grado di leggere e scrivere una vasta gamma di formati di fogli di calcolo. Citando dalla prima riga senza intestazione della home page: "Progetto che fornisce un insieme di classi per il linguaggio di programmazione PHP, che consentono di scrivere e leggere da diversi formati di file, come Excel 2007, PDF, HTML" (la mia enfasi )

Dipende da come si desidera utilizzare i dati nel file excel. Se vuoi importarlo in mysql, puoi semplicemente salvarlo come file in formato CSV e quindi utilizzare fgetcsv per analizzarlo.
