Come accennato nel mio commento, assicurati innanzitutto che entrambe rubye gempuntino alle versioni installate su RVM e non a quelle in /usr/bin.

Assicurati inoltre di utilizzare il tuo nuovo Ruby come predefinito:

rvm --default use 2.0.0-p247

Crea un Gemset (chiamato gemset) che verrà utilizzato per questa versione di Ruby:

rvm use 2.0.0-p247@gemset --create --default

Quindi installa Rails su quel Gemset:

gem install rails

Questo dovrebbe essere sufficiente per utilizzare la nuova railsversione. Prova a riavviare la shell se non si attacca.

Penso che anche tu debba aggiungere il percorso del gemset a .bashrc. Altrimenti non si attaccherà quando riavvii la shell.

@Kevin .bashrcnon proviene all'avvio della shell in OS X per impostazione predefinita. Di solito lo vuoi .bash_profile. Ma anche in questo caso, se RVM è configurato correttamente, non è necessario selezionare il gemset.
