Come riparare che viene rilevato solo uno dei quattro core della mia CPU?

Ho un PC Acer Aspire M5640 / M3640, con un processore Intel Core 2 Q8200 (Quad-core) con Ubuntu 12.04.

Ora sembra riconoscere solo un core della CPU. lscpuuscite:

Mi sarei aspettato di avere Core(s) per sockete CPU(s)di aver 4elencato come valore qui.

Una nota importante è che non riesco ad avviarlo regolarmente, ma ho bisogno del nolapicparametro di avvio del kernel per evitare un blocco improvviso durante l'avvio.

A proposito di avvio, la versione del firmware è Version: R01-C2

Qualsiasi pensiero sulla capacità di usare tutti e quattro i core sarà molto apprezzato.

Maccheroni santi. Apparentemente ho risolto il problema. In breve:

1. Ho cambiato il valore del BIOS Installer OS selectin Other(l'alternativa Windows)
2. Ho pregato e provato ad avviare SENZA il nolapicparametro di avvio del kernel.
3. Ha iniziato Ubuntu come un fascino (non sono sicuro dell'impatto della preghiera però)
