VMware Workstation: errore, i moduli devono essere compilati ... - come risolvere?

quando provo ad avviare VMWARE-WORKSTATION, viene visualizzato il seguente errore:

Prima di poter eseguire VMware, è necessario compilare e caricare diversi moduli nel kernel CANCEL / INSTALL

Nessun errore, quando seleziono INSTALL non succede nulla, si chiude.

Installo manualmente:

sudo apt-get install open-vm-tools open-vm-tools-dev open-vm-dkms open-vm-toolbox open-vm-tools-dev

Ma già installato alle ultime versioni.

Inizierò una taglia per risolvere questo problema.

Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit

Ho disinstallato e reinstallato tutti i componenti, ma lo stesso problema.

Ho provato un kernel diverso, ma alla fine ho avuto lo stesso problema.

Dopo google-fu: errore "vmware" "driver.c" "__devexit_p". Come indicato qui , è necessario applicare una patch, il problema è: quella patch non è per il proprio kernel specifico. Ma ... provalo comunque ... Dovresti provare a google-fu in quel modo, ma aggiungi la versione del tuo kernel. Non ho trovato nulla nella tua versione del kernel, quindi potresti dover chiedere una patch per quel kernel nei forum di vmware.

Ho la patch, l'ho installata durante l'esecuzione di un kernel precedente, ha funzionato bene, quindi ... ma non si installa sul mio sistema attuale ... Forse vmware non può essere eseguito sul kernel che sto usando ...

Ho lo stesso problema. Dopo un po 'di joojling (googling), ho risolto il mio problema seguendo i seguenti passaggi:

  1. (Non sono sicuro che ciò influisca sul mio problema) come eseguito @ pst007x

    cd /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/include/linux 
    sudo ln -s ../generated/utsrelease.h 
    sudo ln -s ../generated/autoconf.h

  2. Ho seguito il codice come suggerito da @Qasim

    sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all

Io non l'ho fatto. Ho dovuto aggiungere il collegamento version.h ed eseguire il comando vmware-modconfig dall'alto, quindi l'installazione ha funzionato.

Credo che il problema sia che hai le intestazioni del kernel sbagliate, sembra che uno di quei suggerimenti stia cercando di usare le intestazioni del kernel per 3.9.0, 13.04 non usa la versione 3.88 del kernel? Prova a ottenere le intestazioni del kernel da apt, fai:

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)(preso in prestito da nixCraft )

e quindi prova a installarlo di nuovo


Ho avuto il problema con il kernel fornito con 13.04 (funzionava bene con il kernel più vecchio fornito con 12.10). Ho dovuto aggiornare il mio kernel a 3.9.0 perché dopo l'aggiornamento a 13.04 il mio sistema si sarebbe bloccato in modo intermittente all'avvio, l'aggiornamento del kernel ha risolto questo problema. Ho avuto lo stesso identico problema quando ho eseguito l'aggiornamento da 12.10 a 13.04. Quando ho avviato VMware ho ricevuto lo stesso messaggio:

Before you can run VMware, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the kernel CANCEL / INSTALL

Quando farei clic su INSTALLA non succederebbe nulla. Ho controllato / var / log / e apport stava segnalando il seguente errore:

ERROR: apport (pid 3061) Thu Apr 25 08:48:51 2013: executable: /usr/lib/vmware/bin/appLoader (command line "/usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-gksu --sudo-mode --message=Please\ enter\ your\ password\ to\ proceed. '/usr/bin/vmware-modconfig'\ --icon='vmware-workstation'\ --appname='VMware'")

Sembra esserci un problema con / usr / lib / vmware / bin / vmware-gksu che causa l'arresto anomalo. Posso riprodurre in modo affidabile il problema ogni volta che eseguo il comando. Sono stato in grado di risolvere il problema eseguendo il comando manualmente. Ecco i comandi che ho eseguito:

Ho avuto lo stesso problema, combinando alcune soluzioni di cui sopra ha funzionato per me, sono uno sviluppatore quindi avevo già le intestazioni di Linux più recenti, ma nel caso in cui tu non

sudo apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo vmware-modconfig --console --install-all

Sono stati generati un paio di errori, nonostante ora funzioni perfettamente.

Va notato che questo metodo è stato testato con VMWare Player, non sulla workstation (la mia chiave della workstation non è aggiornata, l'ultima che ho è la versione 7)
