Impossibile installare vim con apt-get

Ho provato sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgradema nessun effetto, stesso problema.

Ho appena installato Ubuntu. vim funziona ma gli ABCD vengono stampati quando si premono i tasti freccia.

Ha funzionato per me! Ho aggiunto le righe sopra in

/etc/apt/sources.list

in alto e poi io

sudo apt-get update

e poi

sudo apt-get install vim

Navigando su http://pk.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ sembra che il mirror che stai usando non sia aggiornato. Dovresti provare a cambiare il tuo mirror con qualcosa di diverso, che dovrebbe quindi correggere l'errore:

• Come posso usare un mirror vicino a me o scegliere un mirror più veloce?
• Come si seleziona il mirror più veloce dalla riga di comando?

Devi aggiungere il repository deb-src al tuo sources.list.

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Rimuovere la #dalla riga che inizia con #deb-srcquindi Ctrl+ o, Enter, Ctrl+ xper salvare ed uscire da nano.

sudo apt-get update
sudo install vim

E vim verrà installato.
