Eliminata la vecchia versione del kernel per liberare spazio, ottenendo ora errori non-stop

La mia /bootpartizione era piena, quindi ho eliminato una vecchia versione del kernel per liberare spazio, quindi ho eliminato i seguenti file in /boot:

abi-3.8.0-25-generic
config-3.8.0-25-generic
initrd.img-3.8.0-25-generic
System.map-3.8.0-25-generic
vmlinuz-3.8.0-25-generic

Ma ora, ogni volta che faccio qualsiasi cosa in apt-get, genera errori, ad esempio:

C'è un modo in cui posso risolvere questo problema ora che stupidamente non ho eseguito il backup dei file che ho eliminato?

Il gestore pacchetti si lamenta di non essere in grado di eliminare un file mancante. Quindi, dagli quello che vuole! Ho trovato che andrà bene anche un file di lunghezza zero. In / boot, ricrea i file mancanti:

sudo touch vmlinuz-3.8.0-25-generic

... ecc. Quindi eseguire semplicemente l'eliminazione su tutti i pacchetti associati:

sudo apt-get purge `apt-cache pkgnames | fgrep 3.8.0-25`

(Ti verrà chiesto di confermare la rimozione).

Per favore, non cancellare nulla nella tua /bootdirectory a mano! Per questo c'è il gestore dei pacchetti. È necessario reinstallare il pacchetto per risolvere questa situazione:

sudo apt-get --reinstall install linux-image-extra-3.8.0-25-generic
