Le modifiche di xorg.conf dall'impostazione di nvidia non hanno alcun effetto dopo il riavvio

Oggi sono stato aggiornato dal 13.04 al 13.10 e tutto funziona liscio a parte una cosa. Ho una configurazione a doppio monitor e ogni volta che riavvio gli schermi cambiano posto (schermo sinistro sul monitor destro e viceversa). Ho creato correttamente un xorg.conf che è mostrato di seguito.

Ho provato tutte le soluzioni che sono suggerite in questi due post:

I driver Nvidia sembrano ignorare xorg.conf personalizzato in 13.10? Come configurare?

compreso il controllo per il ~/.config/monitor.xmlquale non ho. Caricamento delle impostazioni di NVIDIA in fase di runtime utilizzando nvidia-settings -lciò che non fa nulla. Ma questo ha un senso per me dal momento .nvidia-setting-rcche in realtà non ha alcuna informazione sulle posizioni dello schermo. E poiché sto eseguendo LXDE come ambiente desktop "Preferenze-> Impostazioni monitor" si occupa solo della risoluzione dello schermo, non della posizione dello schermo.

Ora ecco la cosa strana: quando lightdm si carica, gli schermi sono inizialmente nell'ordine corretto (come specificato in xorg.conf) e quindi cambiano l'ordine dopo un paio di secondi.

Nel mio Xorg.0.log ho trovato la seguente riga

che credo potrebbe benissimo essere il colpevole. Sembra che il driver nvidia sovrascriva le impostazioni in xorg.conf dopo il fatto, anche se non sto avviando nvidia-settings all'avvio, per quanto ne so.

MODIFICARE:

Ho appena aggiornato da NVIDIA 304 a NVIDIA 319 e ora i miei sospetti sono confermati perché il registro di avvio del server X è ora un po 'più chiaro. Le righe pertinenti sono:

Qualche idea, qualcuno?

MODIFICA 2:

Quello che ho scoperto è che il messaggio di registro che segnala l'override delle impostazioni di xorg.conf è uno che è causato da una chiamata a xrandr (mentre lo sto facendo io stesso dalla riga di comando per impostare gli schermi nell'ordine corretto).

Di seguito troverai il mio file di registro x-server. Si noti che le ultime due voci a ca. 31,5 secondi sono causati da me chiamando xrandr dalla riga di comando con le impostazioni corrette.

Di recente ho installato 14.04 e ho riscontrato lo stesso identico problema. Ho provato a impostare le schermate sinistra e destra in nvidia-settingsmanager ma quando ho riavviato o riavviato X sarebbero tornati indietro.

Ho cercato molto online, ma non sono riuscito a trovare una soluzione, quindi sono andato alle opzioni di visualizzazione nelle Impostazioni di sistema di Ubuntu o unity-control-center, ho impostato tutto lì, e voilà, il problema è stato risolto.

Quindi la cosa più semplice da fare è ignorare nvidia-settingse usare l'opzione display nelle impostazioni di Ubuntu. Almeno in Ubuntu 14.04.

Ho avuto lo stesso problema in Ubuntu 14.04. Si è scoperto che è xorg.confstato sovrascritto dalle unity-control-centerimpostazioni di visualizzazione in cui sono memorizzati ~/.config/monitors.xml.

L'immissione delle impostazioni desiderate ha monitors.xmlrisolto il problema per me.

• <primary>no</primary> o <primary>yes</primary>
• <x>0</x>significa schermo sinistro, schermo <x>1280</x>destro in cui si 1280trova la larghezza dello schermo a sinistra.

Il problema sembra essere che lightdm reimposti le schermate su un ordine che ritiene opportuno dopo il caricamento di xorg.conf. (Non so perché o come sopprimerlo e lo troverei utile se qualcuno potesse far luce su questo.)

Quindi, per risolvere questo problema, la soluzione semplice è cambiare il display manager. Vedi qui

La soluzione più complicata se si desidera mantenere lightdm è installare arandr. Eseguirlo. Imposta i tuoi schermi come li desideri e salva la configurazione. Ciò salverà uno script di shell che imposta la configurazione ogni volta che viene eseguito. Quindi ora devi aggiungere la seguente riga a/etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

session-setup-script=<location of the script you saved with arandr>

Questo ti darà la corretta configurazione del monitor non appena entri nella tua sessione.

Ha avuto lo stesso problema su 13.10 con Nvidia NVS 510 e 4 monitor. Anche se nvidia-settingssono stati configurati correttamente e salvati xorg.confdopo il riavvio, le opzioni di rotazione non sono state ricordate.

La soluzione era aprire Impostazioni di sistema → Display e configurare nuovamente i monitor nella configurazione corretta. Quindi fare clic su Applica. Presumo che questo sia ciò che scrive ~/.config/monitors.xml.

Dopo di che tutto ha funzionato bene e ha persistito dopo il riavvio.

In realtà esiste un modo più semplice per risolvere questo problema.

Nel tuo profilo utente imposta i display esattamente come li desideri. Poi

copy ~/.config/monitors.xml to /var/lib/lightdm/.config

Ciò costringerà lightdm a utilizzare esattamente la stessa configurazione del tuo profilo utente.

Ho avuto un problema simile : non multi-monitor, ma le mie impostazioni venivano ignorate come le tue. Quello che ho fatto per risolverlo è stato sostituire l' nvidia-auto-selectopzione con l'effettiva risoluzione che volevo, cioè 1280x1024_75 +0+0.

Inoltre, ho notato che nella riga sopra, i monitor sono nell'ordine "CRT-0, DFP-1", mentre in precedenza nel tuo file di configurazione sono stati ordinati "DFP-1, CRT-0". Non so se sia importante, ma queste infradito potrebbero anche causare il tuo problema, quindi prova a impostare tutto nello stesso ordine.

Quello che penso stia succedendo per me è che l'nvidia x-server avrebbe caricato le sue impostazioni preferite, quindi sarebbe stato ignorato dal gestore delle impostazioni. Rimuovendo la selezione automatica (e tutte le altre opzioni di risoluzione disponibili in /etc/X11/xorg.conf) penso che non sia consentito l'uso di altre impostazioni di risoluzione.

Per gli utenti di xfce4, sembra che il file ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xmlpossa essere stato modificato per qualche motivo. L'eliminazione ha risolto il mio problema. Non è stato generato di nuovo al logout / login, quindi non so esattamente cosa dovrebbe fare. Ho anche scoperto che con altri ambienti desktop esiste un file simile (?) ~/.config/monitors.xmlChe potresti provare a eliminare / rinominare.

Ho avuto questo problema con i driver Ubuntu 19.04 e Nvidia. 19.04 ora utilizza GDM3 invece di LightDM per impostazione predefinita.

La soluzione era:

1. Usa le impostazioni di Ubuntu per configurare le schermate.

2. sudo cp ~/.config/monitors.xml /var/lib/gdm3/.config/
