il ridimensionamento della partizione non riesce con Gparted durante il ridimensionamento della partizione fat32. Ubuntu 14.04

Mi sembrano alcuni post su problemi simili, ma non sono riuscito a trovarne uno con una soluzione al mio problema. Sto eseguendo Ubuntu 14.04 sul mio PC e desidero ridimensionare e aggiungere una partizione su una chiavetta USB che contiene una versione live di Ubuntu 14.04.

Ho caricato Gparted usando un CD live gparted. Ho quindi ridimensionato l'unica partizione su di essa per contenere i dati e ho lasciato un po 'di spazio libero Nella nuova partizione non allocata ho creato una partizione con il file system ex4. durante l'applicazione delle modifiche ho riscontrato un errore durante la riduzione della prima partizione.

Qualcuno ha idea di come risolvere questo problema?

Linux fschknon risolve in modo affidabile tutti gli errori FAT. Se riesci a mettere le mani su un computer Windows, fai una posizione chkdsk /f x:dove si xtrova la lettera dell'unità USB su quel computer e poi ridimensiona di nuovo.

Se non hai accesso a un computer Windows, scarica FreeDOS .

Grazie a tutti! Ho usato il suggerimento di Fabby ed eseguito chkdske ci sono stati errori che Windows ha corretto, ma non ha risolto il problema che avevo.

Ho deciso che la pen drive stessa potrebbe essere la causa del problema, quindi l'ho sostituita con un'altra pen drive e ho ripetuto i passaggi (formattazione su FAT32, installazione di un Ubuntu live avviabile con file casper-rw persistente ed eliminazione, ridimensionamento utilizzando il CD live GParted e creando un nuovo nome di directory casper-rw).

Questa volta ha funzionato!

Questo sembra essere un bug con la versione particolare di gpartedUbuntu 14.04. Ripetuti errori con il ridimensionamento delle partizioni fat32 usando Ubuntu 14.04 sono riportati anche in questa domanda di Askubuntu .

La soluzione (per me) è abbastanza semplice. Usa Ubuntu 12.04 o versioni precedenti su un'altra macchina o da un liveusb. Sono stato in grado di ridurre le partizioni fat32 su chiavette USB senza problemi.

Se l'obiettivo è avere un Ubuntu live su un'unità flash con partizione persistente, non è nemmeno necessario un CD Live Gparted. Puoi prima impostare le partizioni e poi installare Ubuntu live in seguito con USB-Creator-GTK.

Basta avviare da Ubuntu cd o persino utilizzare Virtualbox per eseguire Ubuntu e tutto può essere fatto in una sessione. La versione di Gparted disponibile per Ubuntu può creare e rimuovere partizioni senza problemi ma sempre (?) Non riesce a ridimensionare la partizione.

Ho appena creato libparted / Gparted dal gitsorgente su Ubuntu 14.04, sembra che il ridimensionamento di FAT32 funzioni con quello; YMMV. Ecco i miei appunti (ad esempio, lavoro /tmpqui e non eseguo un'installazione; scusate anche per il pasticcio):
