Installazione di clang 3.8 su Ubuntu 14.04.3

Ho provato i seguenti comandi ovvi:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install clang-3.8

ma ricevo il messaggio:

e ho provato:

sudo apt-get update
sudo aptitude install clang-3.8

ma ricevi il messaggio:

Sperando in una versione di clang più recente della 3.5. Eventuali suggerimenti?

Sembra che l'ultima versione di 14.04.3 sia clang 3.6 in Trusty Updates . Ma gli sviluppatori mantengono un PPA che dovrebbe procurarti l'ultima versione:

Per installare 3.8 dovresti prima aggiungere la chiave:

wget -O - http://llvm.org/apt/llvm-snapshot.gpg.key|sudo apt-key add -

e quindi aggiungere il repository per 3.8 aggiungendo manualmente la seguente riga /etc/apt/sources.list(o utilizzando la GUI "Software e aggiornamenti"):

deb http://llvm.org/apt/trusty/ llvm-toolchain-trusty-3.8 main

Quindi eseguire quanto segue:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install clang-3.8 lldb-3.8

Testare l'installazione come segue:

Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
