Accesso negato per l'utente 'debian-sys-maint' - installazione di mysql?

Sto cercando di installare mysql e ottengo l'errore:

mysql_upgrade: Got error: 1045: Access denied for user 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' (using password: YES) while connecting to the MySQL server

Dopo alcune ricerche, trovo che questo stia forse dando l'asso a debian-sys-maint, quindi io:

sudo cat /etc/mysql/debian.cnf

Quindi impostare la password debian in mysql:

mysql -u root -p <password>
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password-here';

Quindi riavvio:

sudo /etc/init.d/mysql restart

E prova a configurare di nuovo:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Ho fatto lo stesso errore.

Ho dovuto "deselezionare" alcuni repository di software. Può essere facilmente eseguito sulla Software & UpdatesGUI nella Other Softwarescheda. Ho deselezionato:

• repository instabili
• repo xenial
• repository "disabilitato su upgrade a yakkety"

Gli unici repository controllati per me erano:

finestra software e aggiornamenti

Quindi, ho risolto il problema in questo modo:

sudo su

root@iqbal: mysql -u root -p
Enter password:
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '<your password>';
ERROR 1819 (HY000): Your password does not satisfy the current policy requirements

Se viene generato l'errore (1819), digitare questo sul terminale mysql

mysql> uninstall plugin validate_password;

Quindi riavviare mysql: systemctl restart mysql

Finalmente

apt install -f

per riparare le dipendenze rotte

Se l'errore persiste, accedere nuovamente al terminale mysql, accedere: digitare questo:

mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '<your password>'

apt -f install per l'ultima volta.

Un altro modo di risolvere era: apt -u dist-upgrade
