Sono riuscito a installare un Debian 7.3 come guest su virtualbox 4.3.6 VM con aggiunte guest e non riesco a far funzionare webGL.
Mentre sono in grado di vedere openGL funzionare (provato con glxinfo
e glxgears
dalla riga di comando), non sono in grado di far funzionare webGL su Firefox / Chrome / Iceweasel (non ho provato altri browser). Per verificare se webgl è ok, sono abituato a navigare su http://get.webgl.org/ ; un paio di note che indicano il punto in cui sono arrivato:
- impostando webgl.force-enabled su true nella
about:config
pagina firefox (e in seguito tutte le cose relative a Forefront su true); - verificato che il processo di installazione delle aggiunte degli ospiti sia andato bene (ho dovuto installare il modulo header del kernel giusto);
- accelerazione 3D abilitata per quella VM;
- nella macchina host (Ubuntu 12.04) webGL funziona bene.
Quindi, a questo punto: è possibile far funzionare webGL in un sistema operativo guest debian (o generalmente in un sistema operativo guest, perché forse questo non è supportato)? Penso che più semplice sia la soluzione, meno personalizzata sia e quindi meno soggetta a strani errori.
