apt-get non riesce a trovare il pacchetto su una vecchia versione della mia distribuzione

Sto lavorando su un computer Linux Mint 16 e recentemente, ogni volta che voglio installare qualcosa tramite apt-get install, il messaggio di registro dice che i pacchetti non possono essere autenticati. Vado avanti e provo a installarli senza autenticazione e si scopre che la maggior parte dei pacchetti non viene trovata.

Alla fine del processo, il messaggio della console mi suggerisce di usare apt-get updateo --fix-missing. Quindi è quello che faccio: sudo apt-get updatee subito dopo provo di nuovo a installare con sudo apt-get install nginxma continuo a ricevere lo stesso messaggio di errore.

Qual è il problema? Mi sto perdendo qualcosa?

Nota: avrei copiato / incollato i log ma sono in spagnolo quindi probabilmente non sarebbero stati di grande aiuto per la maggior parte.

Modifica: come ha detto Meisam Mulla nei commenti , se i tuoi URL nei /etc/apt/sources.listfile hanno il prefisso con qualcosa ( ca.ad esempio) dovrai rimuovere i prefissi manualmente, poiché ca.old-releases.ubuntu.comnon è un indirizzo valido.

L'ho fatto e ha funzionato, tuttavia continuavo a riscontrare errori di connessione. Si scopre che le fonti in /etc/apt/sources.list sono state precedute da ca.. Ho appena rimosso manualmente il prefisso dall'URL e ha iniziato a funzionare correttamente.

Se prendi uno degli URL che genera un errore 404 e lo inserisci nel tuo browser, vedrai che otterrai anche l'errore 404. Questo potrebbe essere temporaneo o un errore del server, quindi ciò che puoi fare è cercare nella struttura della directory fino a quando l'URL lo è http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/.

Lì vedrai le sottodirectory per lucid(10.04), precise(12.04), saucy(13.10), trusty(14.04) e utopic(14.10). I numeri sono i corrispondenti numeri di versione di Ubuntu . Altri sono a fine vita, non più supportati e non devono essere utilizzati. La menta 16 dovrebbe essere una derivata di 13.10, quindi non è chiaro perché il tuo sistema tenti di ottenere qualcosa da 13.04.

Potresti provare ad aggiornare le voci in /etc/apt/sources.lste /etc/sources.list.d/*da raringa saucy, e provare se questo aiuta, ma potresti rompere ulteriormente il sistema installando versioni incompatibili ( fai prima un backup ).

Dovresti prendere in considerazione l'aggiornamento a Mint 17 o tornare a una versione precedente supportata come Maya (13)
