Non ho davvero idea di cosa sia sbagliato e come risolverlo. È possibile annullare un apt-get upgrade?

Ho appena avuto esattamente questo problema. Come suggerito da Gilles, l'aggiornamento tarè la risposta ma (sorpresa sorpresa) tarnon può essere aggiornato nel solito modo perché dpkgrichiede la versione 1.23 o successiva prima di decomprimere e installare l'ultimo tardeb. dpkgha davvero bisogno di una dipendenza esplicita per garantire che quando dpkgviene installata una versione successiva di , l'ultima tarversione va avanti per prima, ma immagino che sia un rischio combinare test diversi e versioni instabili in modi non supportati. È ancora indesiderabile e questo sembra un modo sfortunato di paralizzare un sistema.

La mia prima idea è stata quella di cercare l'ultimo binario del tar progetto GNU , ma sfortunatamente hanno solo download di sorgenti, che non sono utili se (come me) non hai installato i vari strumenti di compilazione.

Se scarichi l'ultimo file tarbinario .debper abbinare il tuo sistema da packages.debian.org e lo lasci in un posto temporaneo da qualche parte (solo per essere ordinato), dovresti essere in grado di inserirlo al suo interno con il arcomando, ad esempio ar x tar_1.26-2_amd64.debnel mio caso.
Quindi decomprimere il data.tar.gzfile risultante con un comando simile tar zxvf data.tar.gz, usando la versione precedente esistente di tar, che dovrebbe funzionare fino a quando non si tenta di fare qualcosa di stupido come utilizzare un --warningparametro che non sarà disponibile fino alla versione 1.23. :) Questo ti permetterà quindi di accedere al file tarbinario, che (all'interno del file data.tar.gz) era probabilmente su bin/tar.
