Contesto in questione

Ultimamente ho avuto qualche problema con l'avvio lento sui server, a volte più di 2 ore per l'avvio bloccato su "Abilitazione quote del filesystem locale:"

Dopo la ricerca sono riuscito a restringere il campo in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit in particolare:

   /dev/.in_sysinit

La causa esatta dell'avvio lento è rm -rf /tmp/orbit-*dovuta alla quantità enorme di file socket generati e non rimossi tranne all'avvio.

I file sono di proprietà dell'utente e del gruppo GDM e sono denominati linc-rand-0-longrandom
ex: linc-1e33-0-54b542d8de62e

Il conteggio dei file è cresciuto fino a 1 milione in locazione una volta.
Le dimensioni della cartella sono state registrate anche per dimensioni fino a 3,1 GB.

nota: i file socket stessi sono vuoti, tuttavia ogni file riserva la quantità minima di spazio su disco in base al tipo di file system e alla configurazione.
(di solito 2048 o 4096)

Mentre ho una soluzione temporanea (vedi sotto), vorrei davvero rintracciare la causa.

Correzione rapida per chiunque googling questo: avvia un cd live con Linux di tua scelta, monta l'unità root e semplicemente mv / tmp / orbit-gdm / tmp / (Tutto ciò che non viene catturato da / tmp / orbit- *) quindi rm dopo l'avvio del sistema con la scelta degli strumenti (rm -rf, perl, rsync ect.)

Potremmo aver trovato una soluzione temporanea leggermente migliore.
su gdm -c linc-cleanup-sockets
Per eseguirlo è necessario il pacchetto ORBit2-devel e l'utente gdm necessita di una shell bash.

One-Liner:
sudo yum install ORBit2-devel -y && sudo chsh /bin/bash gdm && sudo su gdm -c linc-cleanup-sockets

Quindi aggiungi l'ultima parte a un cronjob. (Attenzione! Anche se non ci sono problemi evidenti sul mio sistema, chsh potrebbe comunque rompere qualcosa)

disabilitazione di teamviewer durante la generazione del file lo ha rallentato di circa% 30 ma non lo ha fermato.

Questo è stato testato abilitando la TV e disabilitandola più volte su due server.
Quindi, mentre la TV peggiora il problema, non sembra essere la causa principale.

Sto riscontrando lo stesso problema su RHEL6.8 con una /tmp/orbit-walkerdirectory da 800 megabyte (walker è il mio nome utente). Ciò ha impedito l'avvio del mio sistema.

Ho trovato il problema aggiungendo init=/bin/bashalla mia linea di avvio per ottenere un prompt, quindi facendo

openvt -- /bin/bash

e quindi aprendo il terminale virtuale con alt- f1. Cercando in giro ps, ho trovato il rm -rf /tmp/orbit-*processo sospeso.

Sono stato ucciso il hung rme quindi continuare il processo di avvio con

exec /sbin/init

È molto difficile eliminare il contenuto di una directory con un milione di file. Sia 'find' che 'rm' insistono nel leggere tutti i nomi dei file e ordinarli. Entrambi funzionano per ore e poi si interrompono con 8G di core dicendo "troppi file".

Ecco qualcosa che funziona.

(cd /tmp/orbit-walker; /bin/ls -1 -f | xargs /bin/rm)

L'opzione -f fa stampare / bin / ls senza ordinamento e -1 fa una riga alla volta.
