Come installare skype su arch

Ho cercato dappertutto e nulla ha funzionato. Sto solo cercando di installare skype.

Ho provato a vedere se era nei repository ma non l'ho trovato. Quindi non sono andato sul sito Web di Skype e ho trovato una versione per Linux ma non sapevo come installarlo dopo aver estratto il file tar.

Ho quindi provato a cercare l'AUR e ho trovato skype. Ma quando ho provato a eseguire makepkg ho ricevuto un

Ho provato a cercare soluzioni ma non sono riuscito a trovare nulla. Ogni thread che ho trovato chiede di salvare il /etc/pacman.conffile. Cosa che ho fatto e assicurato di avere incluso il multilib

Ho guardato dappertutto non riesco a trovare alcuna soluzione.

Stai utilizzando correttamente il pacchetto Skype AUR . Segui il makepkgpercorso di installazione dei pacchetti AUR (non abituarti a cose come yaourtse ti preoccupi della sicurezza della tua macchina).

$ wget https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/snapshot/skypeforlinux-bin.tar.gz
$ tar zxf skypeforlinux-bin.tar.gz
$ cd skypeforlinux-bin
$ makepkg -s  # or install dependencies manually if you do not have sudo

Il passo che spesso fallisce è makepkg -sche installerebbe dipendenze per il pacchetto. Tale comando richiede sudoche non sia installato di default su Arch. Un'altra opzione è semplicemente installare le dipendenze a mano prima di eseguire makepkg. La pagina del pacchetto AUR elenca le dipendenze e tutte sono disponibili dai repository predefiniti (non ci sono dipendenze AUR per skype).

Ciò si traduce in skypeforlinux-bin-1.x.x.x-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz(non esiste supporto per i386questo pacchetto, xxxx indica la versione corrente del pacchetto). Lo installa come root.

# pacman -U /path/to/package/skypeforlinux-bin-1.x.x.x-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

Eppure, e questo è un po 'molto ancora , il pacchetto AUR skype rompe spesso. Le persone sostengono che ciò è dovuto al fatto che Microsoft ha rielaborato il protocollo troppo spesso senza compatibilità con le versioni precedenti o che il pacchetto Debian fornito da skype / microsoft non è mai aggiornato con lo skype reale. Come utente Arch ciò che faccio per usare skype (e lo faccio solo se devo) è che installo chromium:

pacman -S chromium

E il plugin skype per questo.
