drm / i915: ripristino del chip dopo il blocco della gpu

Sto eseguendo Debian Testing (ultimo aggiornamento 31/10/2017) e quando riproduco un video a schermo intero attraverso un browser da Twitch o iView, si blocca la GPU, quindi la GUI è tutta bloccata.

Il computer che ho è un " Up Squared " con un Intel 505HD.

Il kernel è ancora in esecuzione, poiché posso ancora accedervi tramite ssh.

È abbastanza facile da replicare e può essere fatto caricando twitch a schermo intero e dopo circa 5 minuti si bloccherà. A volte all'inizio e a volte un po 'attraverso.

Ho aggiornato il kernel alla 4.13 che non ha aiutato il problema.

Ho quindi rimosso l'opzione TearFree. Questo mi ha aiutato a crederci, ma poi ho lacrime.

Si prega di fare come root:

1. MODIFICARE /etc/default/grub
2. Trova la riga che inizia con GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUXe aggiungi i915.enable_rc6=0, dandoti ad esempio:GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="splash quiet i915.enable_rc6=0"
3. ESEGUIRE: update-grub
4. REBOOT
5. (passaggio facoltativo) EXECUTE systool -m i915 -av | grep enable_rc6per verificare se questa opzione è stata impostata correttamente

Ho Jumper Ezbook3 Pro, Linux Mint 18.3 e ho avuto errori simili: i915 0000: 00: 02.0: Ripristino di bcs0 dopo blocco di gpu

Nel mio caso, tali errori si sono verificati quando ho avviato attività graficamente intense come OBS studio. Di conseguenza su gpu hang, Xorg si bloccherebbe per un secondo ogni 10-20 secondi. Ho notato che è successo solo quando il laptop era alimentato a batteria.

Quindi nel mio caso deve essere una batteria difettosa, che non può fornire abbastanza succo per la cpu e la gpu a pieno carico.
