Dispositivo non riscosso in lshw

Nel mio computer ho aggiunto una scheda di controllo PCI Express con 2 porte USB3 e 2 porte sata3. ( http://www.ldlc.be/fiche/PB00121886.html ).

Le porte USB funzionano correttamente ma l'HDD collegato alla porta sata non viene visualizzato nei dispositivi.

Ho eseguito lshw e qui il risultato relativo alla scheda PCI:

Sembra che l'IDE non rivendicato sia il colpevole e che non sia rivendicato perché il sistema non ha trovato alcun driver per esso. Come posso trovare quale driver avrei bisogno per far funzionare quella parte ide?

Finora la mia ricerca su Google per PEX 8604 non ha restituito quasi nulla riguardo a un driver Linux.

Quali sono i fornitori di dispositivi / ID prodotto? Usa lspci -nn.

Penso che PEX 8604 sia solo il bridge PCIe. In realtà non fa altro che prendersi cura delle interconnessioni. lspci -v -s 5:5dovrebbe mostrare molte più informazioni.

Per lspci, 07:00.0 IDE interface [0101]: Device [1b21:0611] (rev 01)è il dispositivo. E in lshw, mostra capabilities: ide msi pm pciexpress cap_list. Il plug-in dell'unità a tale interfaccia funziona? Filatura? Ha potere?

Ho trovato la soluzione. Il dispositivo non è stato reclamato perché non era noto correttamente dal kernel.

Utilizzando un kernel 3.5, il dispositivo è stato elencato come di seguito:

ma era ancora non reclamato.

Durante la ricerca del dispositivo [1b21: 0611] ho trovato un post nella mailing list del kernel che ne parlava. Indica che il kernel non identifica correttamente il dispositivo come dispositivo ahci e propone una patch al kernel.

Ho applicato la patch al sorgente del kernel 3.5 e ricompilato e ora funziona. Per informazione, la patch è inclusa nel kernel nella versione 3.6 e successive.
