Le reti di autoencoder sembrano essere molto più complicate delle normali reti MLP classificatore. Dopo diversi tentativi di utilizzo di Lasagne, tutto ciò che ottengo nell'output ricostruito è qualcosa che assomiglia al meglio a una media sfocata di tutte le immagini del database MNIST senza distinzioni su cosa sia effettivamente la cifra di input.
La struttura delle reti che ho scelto sono i seguenti livelli a cascata:
- livello di input (28x28)
- Strato convoluzionale 2D, dimensione del filtro 7x7
- Livello Max Pooling, dimensione 3x3, passo 2x2
- Strato appiattimento denso (completamente collegato), 10 unità (questo è il collo di bottiglia)
- Strato denso (completamente collegato), 121 unità
- Rimodellamento dello strato su 11x11
- Strato convoluzionale 2D, dimensione del filtro 3x3
- Fattore di livello di upscaling 2D 2
- Strato convoluzionale 2D, dimensione del filtro 3x3
- Fattore di livello di upscaling 2D 2
- Strato convoluzionale 2D, dimensione filtro 5x5
- Pooling massimo di funzionalità (da 31x28x28 a 28x28)
Tutti i livelli convoluzionali 2D hanno distorsioni slegate, attivazioni sigmoidi e 31 filtri.
Tutti i livelli completamente collegati hanno attivazioni sigmoidali.
La funzione di perdita utilizzata è un errore al quadrato , la funzione di aggiornamento è adagrad
. La lunghezza del pezzo per l'apprendimento è di 100 campioni, moltiplicata per 1000 epoche.

Qualche idea su come migliorare questa rete per ottenere un autoencoder ragionevolmente funzionante?
Problema risolto!
Con un'implementazione abbastanza diversa, usando un raddrizzatore che perde invece di una funzione sigmoide negli strati convoluzionali, solo 2 (!!) nodi nello strato di collo di bottiglia e convoluzioni con kernel 1x1 alla fine.
